I fully understand and support those that left, and those who eventually will. It is tough to give you a reason to remain under the banner of Elegy, and no one knows this more then myself.
However, for those that do, I hope to soon once again fight by your side as we take on the world together, and raid to the very end. You are free to leave of your own will, and there will be no bad blood between us, but for those of you that stay, here's to our future together.

It has been a wild ride, from Karazhan to SSC, from nothing to one of the more progressed guilds on Ravenholdt horde-side. However, nothing is eternal.

Many of the people still with us here at Elegy have been with us for some time, and are still seen by those of us making this decision as great people, deserving of knowing what is happening here. Many of the officers of Elegy have become burnt out so to speak, with leading a raid guild and the stress that comes with it. We are opting to find something else to do, something that requires much less dedication and commitment, something where we're not important, where we can just have fun. Much of the game has become work, instead of fun, and that is the point at which it becomes unworthy of ones time.
I write this post to inform you all of what is happening, and to let you know we are going to miss the shit out of you guys, but many of us just lack the motivation to continue raiding at this point. I wish you all the best of luck, and hope that you can all find a place for yourselves both in this game and in life, that makes you happy.

by Blackomen, 762 days agoOn our first night into Serpentshrine Cavern, before the trash leading up to him could respawn, Hydross the Unstable met his exceedingly cruel end at the hands of Elegy. The Murky fuck was filtered, bottled and sold in stores like hundreds of tiny one dollar whores.
But seriously, great job to everyone who showed up for this conquest, I look forward to seeing how far we can take our success with this kind of determination.

Despite the minor setback that is known as the Holiday Season, the fact remains that with relative ease in comparison to the heartache the great bastard has caused countless others, we wrought the bondage of mortality unto the mighty Pit Lord that day - and under that iron shackle did he perish.
Today is another day. And as is our course to heed the call headlong towards greatness, so shall we continue as such; For with the newborn sun phasing into existence upon the horizon, rises also a new challenge. Lady Vashj has just alerted me that aside of helping her save a ton of money on her car insurance by switching to Geico, her reptilian lackeys have revealed a long-secret desire to cower before us whilst the belonging of their collective 'Base' are effectively transferred to the ownership of - Well,
US.
Let us begin this journey into Serpentshrine with a momentous stroke of hammer and fist, with nary a wayward note nor melody astray as by steel, our song is sung. Let us greet these children of Vashj - Nay, these children of
ILLIDAN - to widow their wives and bastard their children.
And when the final blow is struck... When the blanket of eternal night comes crashing down around them, and the peaceful serenity one only finds in death, ensued?
